New Year!

Well here comes another new year! I'm ready for it! This has been a really lousy and stressful year and I'm hoping the next one will get better! We have so many exciting things happening Amber having her baby, my sister graduating, and my friend finally getting married!We had a good anniversary same old we don't do much for it and I had to work. Anyways the holidays were good and ready for this new year with lots of changes!

Curtis' 3rd Birthday Party!

Well it's that time of year again technically Curtis won't be 3 til tomorrow but we had his party yesterday and it was small just us his Meme and grandpa and GG! But he got lots of fun stuff! He will stay busy all day today! I will post some pics! Thank to all that sent gifts I wish everyone could have come but that's ok! :)

Santa!

Curtis calls him Hoho but he is Santa non the less! We went out to Bass Pro on Thanksgiving and got our Santa pis done Savannah could care less about him and Curtis took the candy cane and took off we had to talk him into sitting on his lap!

Life....

I just understand some things life why is it that most of the time horrible people get everything in life and nice loving people get nothing! All I've ever wanted in my life is to be able to provide a nice life for me and my family I don't want to be rich I just want enough money to live and be able to do things when we want and provide fun things for my kids. But it just seems no matter what we do something just wants to bring us down constantly! I've always gone out of my way to help people and do good but I'm starting to not believe in karma! Now I'm not saying that all rich people are horrible people just some, it's just frustrating to see people work their asses off and not get anywhere!

Well we had a great Halloween as you can see! Curtis went as Spongebob and Savannah a Pumpkin! Curtis found out quick if he said trick or treat he got candy and was running to the next house!! LOL Hope everyone had a great Halloween as well!

The flu!!

Oh my good lord!! We had the flu in the Luallen household! CJ got sick Saturday night was sick all day Sunday went back to work Monday but is still sick, then Curtis got sick Monday and it is not fun having a 2 year old throwing up not too mention the diaper changing! Then Savannah apparently got it Tuesday but she didn't get very sick and then I got it Tuesday night and was sick all night! So we are pretty much through it now we just are all drinking lots of water and eating lots of saltines! If any of you get near anyone with the flu RUN beacuse it sucks!!! :)

Curtis learning the alphabet!

Well a couple of months ago we bought Curtis two videos one is Meet the letters and one is Sight words he LOVES the letters one! So he watches it all the time and it's paying off when you show him a letter he knows pretty much most of them! It's good cause I was getting worried cause he doesn't seem to know as many words as most of kids his age! I want to get the other ones as soona s we have money and when Savannah is 3 months old I'm going to have her start watching them too because I guess the best time for kids to learn to read and everything is between 3 months and 5 years old! I'm also teaching Savannah baby sign I said I was going to do it with Curtis but never did so I want to try it with her! CJ had the flu yesterday adn now Curtis has it! No fun when a 2 year old is throwing up because they don't know what is going on and they don't know what to do! I also took Curtis to the doctor about the sores he's been having they gave me antibiotics for him and sent a sample into test it to see if it's merca at all hopefully not! My job is going well I just wish they would give me more hours or pay me more but oh well atleast it's something! Hopefully the economy picks up soon so that CJ gets more hours and we can pay people off and save money so we can get our own place I hate feeling like we are just living here for free! I also really really want our own place ever since we have been married we have rented and moved a lot I want to get settled into our own property and have our own place and be on our own! I have a feeling if we would have known all this would have happened this way we would have stayed with the military which I would have hated! But anyways everything is going ok we are doing the best we can with what we have! I can't believe my sister will be graduating this year and my best friend is finally getting married and my sister-n-law is having a baby it blows my mind! So much this year!!

Catching up.....

Well CJ and I are obviously married. We had a wonderful baby boy December 23rd 2005 he is now 2 and a half years old. We live in Royse City, TX thankfully to the helpfulness of Christy and David Colbert (CJ's step mom and step step dad :)) CJ is working as a mechanic unfortunately it is rough there right now due to the economy! But he loves what he does and that's all I care about is that he loves what he does not that he necessarily makes a ton of money! We just had a baby girl Savannah Lynn on August 4th 2008! Curtis is adorable with his little sister, if she is ever crying he is right there to see what's wrong with her!! I just started a job at a pizza place it's not much of a job but we need extra money to help with bills and I need to get out of the house! I love my kids but my dogs and the kids drive me crazy all day long, not too mention I'm new to Texas and don't have any friends here so I have no one but my husband and his family to talk too! We are looking forward to Amber coming to visit in October to meet her new husband! We are working on potty training with Curtis he is NOT wanting to do it! I don't know why he would be happy sitting in a poopy diaper but he is I guess! Savannah has been holding her head up since she was born and now when I try to sit her down she wants to stand up! She is so strong! Well LSU is doing well CJ is very happy! We just had some family pictures done and I can't wait to get them to put them online so everyone can see them!!
